From Tucson, Arizona, Anthony Taylor Jr. was raised off classic country music. From singing Dwight Yoakham in his car seat, to dressing up like Elvis, it was clear that Anthony was an old soul anywhere he went. By the age of 14, Anthony had learned the guitar and he was playing in his school's Jazz band. Once Anthony reached high-school, he dove into the country scene. Anthony was lucky enough to go to the same high-school as one of his biggest idols, Mark Wystrach. Anthony met Mark and his band Midland, and from then on Anthony was inspired to start writing his own music. By 16, he was performing his originals in the local country bars. Once he reached 17, Anthony was fully emerged in the honky tonk scene of Arizona.
Now at 21, Anthony is keeping country music alive by performing at private parties & honky tonks all over Arizona. Anthony has opened for acts such as Josh Ward and Bri Bagwell, the Texas Female Artist of the decade. Anthony has played 2-years straight at his hometown Rodeo Barn Dance, and this year he broke the record of 840 tickets sold. In April 2024, Anthony performed at Country Thunder.
Anthony is currently in the studio recording his first Self-Titled EP and it will be out on all streaming platforms soon… stay tuned!
